Welcome to Monograph! We’re excited to support you as you get started and adopt the platform throughout your onboarding journey.
Onboarding is structured as an 8-week program designed to fully ramp you up and help you actively adopt Monograph by the end of the timeline.
Throughout the program, you’ll be paired with a Launch Manager who will guide you through each step of the process. Onboarding includes a mix of live webinars and self-paced resources, offering both flexibility and hands-on support.
After each session, you’ll receive clear action items to complete before advancing to the next stage.
Pro Tip: Assign a point person on your team to lead onboarding. This helps keep things organized and moving efficiently.
Onboarding Timeline
🟠 Weeks 1 - 4
Your initial onboarding weeks are all about Launch—getting started and setting up your Monograph account. You'll begin with customization and configuration, then progressively add project details and consultant information. Milestones include:
Learning Your Business: You will meet your Launch Manager to learn more on the onboarding journey ahead, as well as build a trusting partnership by sharing more on your organization priorities and preferences. This is a recommended session to support your implementation progress.
Session #1 Foundation: You will learn about building a strong base, including how to customize your settings, define permission levels, and completing your contacts and directory. You will also learn about the integrations available with Monograph. This session is required in order to continue with your onboarding progress.
Session #2 Enabling Payments: You’ll learn how to set up and connect Stripe to your account, allowing you to accept electronic payments through invoicing. This session is required in order to continue with your onboarding progress.
Session #3 Projects: You will learn how to build out and fully allocate your projects to include phase specific details such as dates, fees, and assigned team members. You will also learn how consultants are involved with project creation. This session is required in order to continue with your onboarding progress.
🟣 Weeks 5 - 8
Midway through onboarding, you'll begin working with advanced workflows such as invoicing, staffing, reporting, and time tracking. Milestones include:
Session #4 Money: You will learn how to manage and issue invoices and collect payments directly from Monograph. You will also understand how consultants impact the invoicing workflow. This session is required in order to continue with your onboarding progress.
Session #5 Managing Schedules: You will learn to manage your working schedules and allocations, as well utilizing time log reporting and insights. This session is required in order to continue with your onboarding progress.
Session #6 Analytics: You will learn how to utilize the reporting options available for performance, time, and finances. This session is required in order to continue with your onboarding progress.
Session #7 Team Orientation: Go Live! Now that you've reviewed the key areas of Monograph, your team is ready to begin tracking time. You’ll learn how to log hours and get a general overview of how to navigate the platform. This session is designed for your entire team and marks the official close of your onboarding experience. This session is required in order to complete your onboarding.
Onboarding Complete
At the end of your 8-week onboarding period, your Launch Manager will step away, and ongoing support will transition to our Customer Support team. Our Support team is available to answer your questions, gather feedback, and help arrange live assistance as needed.

Data Import | Migrations
If you have opted for our data import (migration) service, your Launch Manager will guide you through the process. In the initial weeks of onboarding, you’ll provide the necessary data for processing. During this period, we’ll work with you to ensure an efficient import of your information and connect during the following milestones:
Migrations Alignment: Only applicable with paid data import service, you will review the requirements and steps to migrate your past data into Monograph and understand how this work will progress in the background as you continue with your onboarding milestones.
Migrations Validation: Only applicable with paid data migration service, after submitting your data for review, you will have the opportunity to validate and final approval prior to importing your information to your Monograph account.

How and when are onboarding sessions hosted?
We host onboarding sessions multiple times each weekday, covering different areas of the platform. Sessions are webinar-style, allowing you to register for a time and date that best fits your team’s schedule.
How long are the onboarding sessions for each milestone?
Each onboarding session lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Are any onboarding sessions optional?
No, all onboarding sessions are required in order to progress through your onboarding. However, we highly recommend attending the Learning Your Business session at the start of your journey. This session is an opportunity to meet your Launch Manager and ensure we understand your specific needs and goals.
What if my schedule doesn’t allow me to attend the required onboarding sessions?
Setting up Monograph successfully is essential to seeing value quickly, so we strongly recommend making time to attend each session and complete the required deliverables.
That said, we understand schedules can be tight. Pre-recorded versions of every session are available—just register for the session, and you’ll automatically receive the recording after the live event.
How much time should we set aside to complete the required deliverables for each session?
The time needed to complete deliverables varies depending on the complexity of the session. For example, building your first invoice may take longer than customizing your settings. On average, we recommend setting aside at least 60 minutes per milestone to complete the associated tasks.
What does support look like as a new Monograph customer, and what happens after I complete onboarding?
If you're subscribed to the Grow plan, you will work with a Launch Manager who will guide you through an 8-week onboarding plan. After onboarding is complete, support will transition to our Customer Support team, who are available to answer questions, collect feedback, and coordinate live assistance when needed.
What happens if I am unable to complete onboarding within the 8-week timeline?
Our onboarding program is designed to be most efficient and successful when milestones are completed steadily, week over week. We understand that bandwidth and competing priorities can vary, which is why onboarding includes multiple live session options and robust self-paced resources to support you.
At the end of the 8 weeks, your Launch Manager will transition off your account, and any outstanding onboarding tasks will transition to a self-guided experience. You will continue to have access to our Learning Center and ongoing support through in-app chat for the entirety of your subscription.
