Importing Customers from QBO
To begin, navigate to the Client Directory by clicking on the "Contacts" link on the left hand menu in your account, and then "Clients":

Click the Import from QuickBooks button at the top of the client directory to import customers from QBO to Monograph. This will pull in all customers that exist in QBO and will allow you to select which should be imported.
If existing clients were created in Monograph prior to the sync, a Merge with Monograph Client column will appear. If a customer from QBO should be merged with a Monograph Client, you will select the appropriate client from the drop-down. Otherwise, if a client isn't selected from the drop-down, a new client will be created in Monograph.
Once all existing Monograph clients have been matched to a QBO customer, the drop-down will show "No more clients left to select".
If there are data conflicts between any of the selected Monograph client(s) and QBO customer(s) that are being merged, a warning will appear, asking whether the Monograph data or QBO data should be used.

π¨ To note: the option that is selected will be applied to all of the clients/customers being merged.
π‘ Once a Monograph client <> QBO customer is synced, any updates to the client name, address, and email in either system will be reflected in the other system within minutes.
Sending Monograph Clients to QBO
To send a Monograph client to QBO, go to the Client Directory and click on the client's name to open their details.
Once here, click on More in the upper-right corner and select Send to QuickBooks.
Next, you'll have the option to send the client to QBO as a new customer, or to merge the client with an existing QBO customer.
"Send this client as a new customer"
If this option is selected, a company name will first be required before it can be sent to QBO.
If a QBO customer already uses the same company name, you will not be able to send the client as a new customer. Instead, the Monograph client would need to be merged with the matching QBO customer, or the Monograph client's name would first need to be changed.
Once the Monograph client is successfully sent to QBO, a notification will appear in the bottom left corner to let you know that it was successful.
"Merge this client with QuickBooks customer"
If this option is selected, a warning will appear to let you know that the Monograph client matches a QuickBooks customer.
Use the QuickBooks Customer drop-down to select the QBO customer that should be associated with the Monograph client.
If the data associated with the Monograph client does not match the data associated with the QBO customer, you'll need to select if the Monograph data should be used or if the QBO data should be used.
Once all options have been selected, click Merge.
Once the Monograph client is successfully merged with the QBO customer, a notification will appear in the bottom left corner to let you know that it was successful.
