Looking for a specific project or team profile in Monograph? With the Global Search Bar, you can easily search projects and team profiles for quick access.
How to use the Global Search Bar
There are two ways to access the search bar:
Command + K (Mac) or Control + K (Windows)
Ask Monograph icon found below Contacts in the main menu
Projects can currently only be searched by project name, not by project number.
Other quick actions you can perform from the search bar include creating a project or quickly navigating to other areas of the app.
💡 The Global Search Bar will only show 4 projects or 4 people at one time, which will adjust as additional characters are typed in the search.
If you're an Admin-level user, you will be able to search for any project and any team member's profile.
End-users will be able to search for projects depending on the permission level that they're assigned.
If a user can edit all projects, all projects are included in the search.
If a user can view all projects, all projects (except for proposed) are included in the search.
If a user cannot edit or view all projects, only assigned projects (except for proposed) are included in the search.
Ask Monograph
The Global Search Bar also provides access to Ask Monograph, Monograph's AI-powered search tool that answers questions using firm data and information from Monograph's Learning Center.
To access Ask Monograph using the Global Search Bar, use Command + K (Mac) or Control + K (Windows). From there, enter a question, then press Tab to ask Monograph.
