Inviting Your Team to Monograph

Add team members to collaborate on shared projects

After accepting an invitation to collaborate in Monograph, you can invite the rest of your team to join your collaboration account for free. Any invited team members with free accounts will have access to all projects your team is part of.

⭐️ Users with paid Monograph accounts are billed at the time that a new team members is added.


Team Directory

When you navigate to Staff > Team Directory, by default, only Active, Invited, and Not Invited team members will appear. Use the following Filters or Search Bar to refine the team members that appear on the page if you need to refine your view.

Search Bar

  • Ability to search for team members in the Directory

Filter By: Status

  • Active - users who have accepted their invitation to join Monograph and have an active account

  • Invited - users who have been invited to join Monograph but have not accepted the invitation

  • Inactive - users who have a deactivated Monograph account

Additionally, you can change the Sort By order of the Team Directory by clicking on the header for any column.


Inviting Your Team

To invite a team member to join your company on Monograph from the Team Directory, navigate to Staff > Team > Directory and then click on Invite team member in the upper right corner.

Next, a pop-up will appear where you can enter the team member's Name, Email, and Title. Once all of the information has been added, click Send Invite.

After the invitation has been sent, the team member will appear in the Team Directory with an Invited status. When the invitation is accepted, the status will change to Active.

Deactivating a Team Member

To deactivate a team member and prevent them from collaborating on project, navigate to the Team Directory and click on the ellipses button next to the team member who should be deactivated and select Deactivate.

Reactivating a Team Member

If a previously deactivated team member needs to be reactivated, navigate to the Team Directory, click on the ellipses button next to the team member who should be deactivated, and select Reactivate.


💡 New team members can also be invited directly from a project's Overview page.


Employee Profile

An employee's Profile will include basic information about the team member that can be edited at any time by clicking Edit.

The following information can be added for each team member in their profile:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Pronouns

  • Title

  • Email

  • Phone

Deactivate from Profile

To deactivate a team member from within their Employee Profile, click on More in the upper right corner and select Deactivate. This will immediately deactivate the team member and they will no longer be able to collaborate in Monograph.


Frequently Asked Questions

How do I adjust permission levels for each team member?

Free Monograph accounts do not include the ability to set specific permission levels for different users. Only paid Monograph accounts are able to customize permissions.
