This article is intended for clients who are accepting a proposal from a firm using Monograph.
When the firm you're working with sends you a proposal through Monograph, you’ll receive an email letting you know that a new proposal is ready for your review. From this email, you can easily view and accept the proposal directly online.
Viewing the Proposal
To view the proposal, open the email notification from your architect. You’ll see a button to view the proposal - click this to open it in your browser. The proposal can be viewed and accepted from a desktop or mobile device.
Your name will appear automatically on the proposal page, based on the information your architect provided. Depending on whether you’re logged in to your free Monograph client account, your next steps will differ slightly:
If you’re already logged in:
You’ll see the proposal preview page.
You can immediately proceed to accept the proposal.
If you’re not logged in:
You’ll first be prompted to agree to digital acceptance.
You’ll then see the full proposal preview.
You can review all proposal details before taking action.
Accepting a Proposal
When you’re ready to move forward, follow these steps:
1️⃣ Enter your name in the acceptance field. Your name must match the one displayed on the proposal.
2️⃣ Confirm your acceptance. After signing digitally, you’ll receive a follow-up email asking you to confirm acceptance. Click the confirmation link in that email.
To note: the link will expire in 30 minutes. If your link expires, you will need to accept the proposal again.
3️⃣ Log in or create your account (if needed). If your email address isn’t yet linked to a Monograph client account, one will be created automatically. If you don’t have a password, you’ll be prompted to create one before continuing.
4️⃣ View your accepted proposal. Once confirmed, you’ll see the finalized, accepted version of the proposal - either while logged in or through the email link provided.
5️⃣ Look for the confirmation email. You’ll get an email confirming your acceptance. Your architect will also be notified automatically.
Voided/Replaced Proposals
If a proposal has been voided or replaced, and you attempt to open the original link, you’ll see a message indicating that the proposal is no longer available. You can contact the firm that you're working with if you need more information on the voided/replaced proposal or if you need a new proposal link.
Viewing All Your Proposals
You can view all your active and past proposals when logged in to your free Monograph client account. Here, you can review proposal details, acceptance history, and any updates made by your architect.
Proposals are sorted by acceptance date, with the most recent displayed at the top.
What Happens After Acceptance
Once you accept a proposal:
Your architect is immediately notified via email and in Monograph.
A project is automatically created in their account, marking the start of your collaboration.
💡 Tip: Be sure to check your spam or promotions folder if you don’t see the acceptance confirmation email within a few minutes.
