When the Data add-on is enabled, firms can upload global files and connect cloud storage services such as Google Drive and OneDrive to access and share files directly within Monograph. This helps centralize documents and makes file management easier while working across projects.

Global File Storage
The Data add-on allows files to be uploaded and managed without being associated with a specific project. These files are referred to as global files.
Global files are useful for storing firm-wide documents, shared resources, or other reference materials that teams may need access to within Monograph.
Firms that do not purchase the Data add-on are limited to 10 global files.

Google Drive Integration
With the Data add-on enabled, a Google Drive account can be connected to Monograph. This allows files stored in Google Drive to be accessed and shared directly within Monograph.
This integration helps teams reference and share documents stored in Google Drive without leaving the platform.

Is there a limit to project-related files without the Data add-on?
No. There is no limit to the number of files that can be uploaded to projects without the Data add-on. Only global files (files that are not associated with a project) have a limit of 10 files without the Data add-on.
Why can’t I upload more global files?
Without the Data add-on, firms can upload up to 10 global files that are not associated with a project. Uploading additional global files requires enabling the Data add-on.
