What to Expect: Monograph Guided Onboarding

An overview of the guided onboarding experience for new customers.

Monograph Guided Onboarding is exclusively available to customers on the Grow plan with 5 or more employees. Guided onboarding is not available for customers on other plans.

Welcome to Monograph! Our Guided Onboarding service is designed to fully ramp up your team and drive active adoption of Monograph. You’ll be paired with a dedicated Launch Manager who will guide you through the 8 week journey, combining one-on-one working sessions, live webinar training, on-demand training, and self serve resources for flexibility and continued progress.

Included in Guided Onboarding

Our guided onboarding program provides 8 weeks of structured training and support to help your team confidently adopt Monograph and includes:

  • Learning Your Business Kickoff, 30 minutes: Meet with your dedicated Launch Manager to discuss your firm’s goals, workflows, onboarding priorities, and transition to Monograph. If you purchased Boost Service, we’ll also review how to get started.

  • 4 One-on-One Working Sessions, 30 minutes each: Schedule up to 4 dedicated working sessions with your Launch Manager for personalized guidance, questions, and support as you implement Monograph.

  • 2 QuickBooks Online Support Sessions, 30 minutes each: If you use QuickBooks Online, schedule up to 2 dedicated working sessions with your Launch Manager and a QBO Specialist to support your Monograph integration.

  • 4 Hours of Live Webinar Training: Join live sessions covering Building Projects, Tracking Time, Invoicing Clients, and Managing Finances. Each session is up to 60 minutes.

  • 2 Hours of On-Demand Training: Learn with step-by-step guidance through Enabling QuickBooks Online, if applicable, and Prepare for Invoicing. Each session is up to 60 minutes.

  • Launch Manager Email Support: Your Launch Manager serves as your primary point of contact throughout the onboarding period, providing ongoing guidance and support by email.

Guided Onboarding Timeline

Your Guided Onboarding follows an 8 week cadence, with key milestones designed to be completed in order. Each milestone builds on the previous one, so completing them in sequence is required to staying on track and progressing successfully through onboarding.

Below is a breakdown of each training session and format included, the topics covered, and which team members should attend. Sessions must be completed in order to meet each required milestone and keep your onboarding on track.

Support After Onboarding

At the end of your 8 week onboarding period, your Launch Manager will no longer serve as your primary point of contact, and your account will move to our Customer Support team. Support is available to answer questions, gather feedback, and coordinate live assistance when needed.

If you’re already an active customer, you’ll be introduced to your Launch Manager at the start of your subscription. They’ll provide guidance, share helpful resources, and invite you to connect one-on-one to learn more about your firm, goals, and workflows.

When does the 8 week Guided Onboarding period begin?
Your onboarding begins on the first day of your subscription. For example, if your subscription starts January 1, your 8 week Guided Onboarding period will run through approximately March 1.

When are live trainings hosted, and how can I attend?
Live webinar trainings are hosted multiple times each week and cover different areas of the platform. You can view the schedule and register for sessions directly through the Monograph Learning Series.

How can I access the on-demand training, and when is it available?
On-demand training is available anytime and can be accessed directly through the Monograph Learning Series.

Are any onboarding sessions optional?
No. All onboarding sessions are required to progress through your onboarding. If you’re unable to complete a session, please discuss next steps with your Launch Manager.

What if my schedule doesn’t allow me to attend the live training sessions?
To get the most from your onboarding, we recommend prioritizing live training whenever possible. If you’re unable to attend, register for the session and you’ll automatically receive access to the recording afterward.

How much time should we set aside to complete the requirements for each session?
The time needed will vary by topic. For example, building your first invoice may take longer than configuring your settings. On average, we recommend setting aside at least 60 minutes after each session to complete the associated tasks.


Can I contact my Launch Manager if I have questions after completing onboarding?
Launch Managers serve as your primary point of contact during onboarding only. After your onboarding period ends, please contact our Support team for any questions or assistance.

What happens if I am unable to complete onboarding within the 8 week period?
If you’re unable to complete onboarding within the 8 week period, please contact your Launch Manager to discuss next steps. Approved extensions or deferrals to a later start date may be available for an additional fee.
